30 Day Residential Program

Our 30-day drug and alcohol rehabilitation program is located on 17 rolling acres just outside Nashville, Tennessee. Our peaceful retreat houses only 18-24 guests. 
We offer immediate immersion into the Alcoholics Anonymous 12 step process of recovery. This program is provided by uniquely qualified Guides, staff and dedicated volunteers. We have approximately one guide for every six guests, and as a result of their dedication, the lives of our guests have changed. In the 30-day drug and alcohol rehabilitation and recovery program, we seek to bring about a profound change of attitude in our guests, which we call a "Spiritual Experience" because the results can be truly miraculous.
Since we believe recovery comes from the inside out, we help each guest begin his journey with a combination of individual guidance and small group discussion. Action-oriented recovery, daily meditation, book study, group discussions, community recreation, personal support and 12 step meetings are all led by Guides and volunteers who are successful in recovery.

Though no two days are identical, here’s a typical day at Discovery Place:

9:00 AM Book study/speaker
11:00 AM Step study/speaker
12:00 PM Lunch
1:00 PM Meetings with primary guide / community recreation
3:00 PM Personal time and study
4:00 PM Dinner
5:30 PM Personal time/ personal study
6:30 PM 12 Step meetings (on & off campus)
8:45 PM Evening spiritual time   
9:15 PM Community recreation
11:00 PM Lights out

On weekends, families are encouraged to visit. Participation in our Family Program is encouraged.
When a man leaves Discovery Place, his journey through a lifetime of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction is just beginning. We don't want our guests to walk this road alone. Accordingly, Discovery Place includes a Continuing Care program in the price of our 30-day program. For men who want to spend a longer time in guided recovery we also offer an Extended Stay program. This long term drug and alcohol rehab program is second to none. We have excellent results for men who have relapsed and need relapse rehabilitation.
