Discovery Place charges less than half of the price of traditional rehabilitation centers. Our cost effective alternative to drug and alcohol rehabilitation means that we can successfully deliver our solution at a far lesser price. We don't have, or want, the overhead of unnecessary buildings or the distraction of nonessential activities. We think a simple straight forward Alcoholics Anonymous 12 step recovery approach delivered in a comfortable but humble environment is in line with our guests true needs.

Additionally, because we keep costs low, our guests are not exposed to the damaging uncertainty of an insurance company dictating the length of drug and alcohol rehab. We think that adding insurance companies to the mix makes the recovery more difficult because of the added stress. Accordingly, all of our guests enroll for a minimum 30 day stay, go through the 12 step recovery process together, and very often develop meaningful and ongoing recovery relationships during their stay and beyond.

While a 30 day stay at rehab will provide a guest with a good start, many men who seriously want the real benefits of the good life, free of drugs and alcohol, elect to stay for our 60 and 90 day Extended Care programs. Statistics clearly indicate that longer rehabilitation produce better results. At Discovery Place, because your recovery dollars work harder, extended care may be a highly desirable and affordable option. We recommend a 60 to 90 day stay.
