Donate to Discovery Place

Discovery Place needs your donations of money, time and supplies so that we can help more men and their families find recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
Although we keep our overhead low, we cannot help men and their families overcome their addiction without your help. Every year, through the kindness of people like you, over 100 men in need receive partial scholarships to attend Discovery Place. Without your help, most these men will not have the opportunity to come here and find lasting, meaningful sobriety.

Here are some easy ways to make your financial contribution.

By Credit Card Online:
If you prefer the convenience of giving online, please use our secure Giving Matters account. You may need to sign in first, but it is an easy process. If you donate this way, your credit card statement will show a payment to Giving Matters.

By Check:
If you prefer to mail your gift, please make your check payable to Discovery Place, and mail to:

You can print out a form here to send with your check if you like.

By monthly automatic contribution (through Giving Matters):
If you wish to contribute monthly or quarterly to Discovery Place, and prefer to have your gift automatically transferred, you can do this through the Giving Matters account. Contact us and we can walk you through the steps. It is easy to set up, and there is no additional charge. After each transfer, you will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible gift, just as you would for any other contribution.

Through our Facebook Friends of Discovery Place page:
If you are a member of Facebook, please join our Cause- Friends of Discovery Place- and help us spread the word about DP. There is a place for secure donations on the page. If you donate this way, your credit card statement will show a payment to Network for Good.

Discovery Place’s board of directors holds us accountable to our mission and in our financial stewardship. Financial reports are available on request.

How we are financed: Discovery Place receives financial support from the following sources: guest fees, fundraising efforts, grants, special events and generous contributions from people like you. We do not take insurance, and we receive no government funding.
