“It’s a wonderful place to spend 30 days recovering from the point of hell. From the staff, to the kitchen help, it’s the best spot in the world to discover a relationship with God as I understand him and how to live sober, as outlined in the Big Book.
My experiences at Discovery Place taught me how to live a day at a time and to do it in harmony. If I take daily action I am confident, by the grace of god, my daily condition will remain on the sober side.
Discovery Place has explained and carefully outlined a plan of action to live by each day without drink or drug. Now it’s up to me to put these simple tools to work from morning to night in all aspects of my life.”
