Our programs are based upon the long established twelve step tradition suggested in the book of AlcoholicsAnonymous. It is our hope that guests will discover enough about the twelve step program to take a positive interest in their personal recovery and to carry this interest into their daily lives and their community. Family Matters Program |

We offer a minimum 30-day “Residential Program”, and up to 90-day “Extended Care Program”, based upon the 12 steps of recovery. It is presently offered to men who may be suffering from addiction to alcohol and/or drugs. Price is $5,600 for each 30-day stay and includes all room and board. Those in "Extended Care" have a unique oportunity to live off property and learn how to live sober in a safe structured environment, while continuing their studies on property. Detailed information upon request. Arrangements for full payment must be made prior to admission. |

Our “Family Matters Program” recognizes that alcoholism and drug addiction are a family disease. While our guests work their programs of recovery, the family member works theirs. They are independent of each other but they also come together in a wonderful way. Currently our program invites the family to participate in week-end sessions, and at the close of their guests stay. |

Renewal Program |
Continuing Care Program |
|
|
"Renewal Program" gives our alumni an unparalleled opportunity to reinvigorate their personal programs by staying 2 or 3 days free of charge as residential guests provided that they have remained sober since their commencement. We ask that 3 days notice be given prior to arrival to insure bed availability. |
Our “Continuing Care Program” focuses on staying in contact with our alumni and to track their success. The program in conjunction with our “Out Reach Program” seeks to involve our guests with their hometown recovering community and to keep them in contact with Discovery Place and to participate in our post commencement activities. Discovery Place guests must be medically stable and detoxified prior to being admitted. We understand that there are often mental health issues associated with addiction; we enjoy a good relationship with several local mental health professionals and are willing to take our guests to their appointments. |
