What To Bring

• Bath towels.
• Clothes appropriate to the season.
• Personal items including toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap etc.
• Any tobacco products you use. The staff goes to the store for guests on Wednesdays.
• A small amount of money for the tobacco store and for sodas from the drink machine.
• Any prescriptions you are currently using. 
• Most importantly... an open mind. 
  

What Not To Bring     

• No Cell phones, pagers, etc.
• No CD, radio, MP3, laptops, or video game devices.
• No weapons of any kind.
• No mouthwash or anything that may contain alcohol.
• No food, drinks, or candy unless it is enough for ALL of the guests.

Other Things to Know

• We have 2 ponds to fish in and we provide gear, but you are welcome to bring your own.
• You may wish to bring an old pair of shoes.
• We provide a washer, dryer, and laundry detergent at no additional cost.
• All prescribed medications need to be blister packed. Most pharmacies can provide this service. If you or your family member needs to have a perscription filled, you can call Dickson Apothecary at 615-446-5585. If you let them know you will be a Guest of Discovery Place, they will blister pack the medications for free. If you have a question regarding medications please email Keats Komisar or Justin Fowler
